Symposium on QoS in Wired and Wireless Networks

Symposium on “QoS in Wired and Wireless networks” in the frame of the 24th International Conference on Software, Telecommunications and Computer Networks (SoftCOM 2016), will be held in Split,September 22-24, 2016.The challenge of new communication architectures is to offer QoS in Internet networks. QoS aspects in NGN (Next Generation Networks) is an important topic especially in wireless networks (cellular networks, mobile networks, data transmission networks and satellites networks). Voice and video multimedia wireless applications will be developed and used when real QoS mechanisms will be available.Paper length should be 3-5 pages in two-column IEEE format. Paper length should be 3-5 pages in twocolumn IEEE format. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their manuscripts for publication in a special issue of the Journal of Communications Software and Systems (JCOMSS).
