Asian Forum for Accelerators and Detectors 2017

The objective of the Asian Forum for Accelerators and Detectors (AFAD) is to establish a general framework of collaboration toward practical applications in variety of fields, such as industry and medicine, as well as information exchange, for the development of related science and accelerator technology among the synchrotron radiation facilities, Proton and heavy ion accelerator facilities, High energy laboratories and the related accelerator fields in Asian Oceania region.

The 8th Asian Forum for Accelerators and Detectors “AFAD2017” will be held on 16-18 January, 2017, in Institute of Modern Physics, Lanzhou, China.
