SPE Bergen One Day Seminar

On behalf of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Programme Committee, I would like to invite you to submit your paper proposal for the SPE Bergen One Day Seminar. All presentations at this conference will be published as SPE papers available to all participants.

We see a change in activity and investments that indicate a change that may turn the curve upward again. This will feed the optimism in the industry and challenge all colleagues to bring up new ideas and publish SPE papers. The best way of giving new life to the industry is to gather and share new ideas, technology and opportunities. SPE is renowned for bringing technical professionals together and is including this key event in its 2017 calendar to focus on the life cycle of a well.

We are facing challenges to drill more advanced wells. Wells to be completed intelligently, to extend the life time and increase their production. We need to address challenges to find good options for abandonment when they need to be addressed in a safe and economical manner.
