Teaching and Researching Academic and Professional English

Following our hugely successful conference in Hong Kong in 2015, we would like to warmly welcome you back to this great city for Faces of English 2 in June 2017. This time around we have decided to make the conference more focused and more intimate, reducing the number of participants and the scope to highlight advances in the teaching and researching of academic and professional English. With English as the lingua franca of higher education, workplace interactions and international business here, Hong Kong is a particularly appropriate place to celebrate this theme. The conference will bring together teachers, researchers, students and curriculum designers to share their ideas and their passions about these topics in a lively, stimulating and productive atmosphere. There will be a strong line-up of plenary and invited speakers to lead the discussions and, as in our previous conference, a rich and diverting array of cultural entertainment.
