About ORS-CHINA :
Over the past decade, China's orthopedic research has developed rapidly. With the development of orthopedic new theories, new technologies and new materials, basic research plays an increasingly important role in promoting the development of orthopedics. In order to promote the orthopedic research level in our country, translating more of our research results into new technologies and meet clinical needs, provide a platform for research institutes, basic research and clinical professionals and medical equipment manufacturers, investment and financing institutions to exchange ideas and make co-operation, with the approval of Ministry of Health Department, Shanghai Guang Mao Exhibition Service Inc, China Orthopedic Reaearch Alliance, China orthopedic Implant Industry Alliance will host The 2nd China International Orthopedic Research Summit from 22-23 September 2017 in Shanghai.
This conference will invite nearly 800 orthopedic research professionals from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United States, Britain, Japan, Germany, Australia and other countries and regions, business representatives, representatives of research institutes, orthopedic clinicians, university professors and other professionals will attend the summit.
The summit has a total of seven sub-forums, and tea breaks, panel discussions and other activities for the participants to networking and share ideas. The conference also establishes an exhibitiing area for orthopedic research products and technologies to display.

Orthopaedic Research and Innovation Symposium
This symposium focuses on the orthopaedic sciences from engineering and medical viewpoints. The following areas will be emphasized: 1) Orthopaedic Sciences, 2) Devices and 3) Nano Science such as biological markers in Orthopaedics to Device level and mechanisms with an emphasis on the design optimization issues, modeling behaviors, nanotoxicity and clinical applications. Abstracts in the modeling areas, soft-hard material phenomenon, nano scale phenomenon that accompany bone healing and remodeling following orthopaedic surgery will be sought. Additional emphasis will be placed on covering failure modes of orthopaedic devices such as wear, polymer synthesis for biomedical applications, as well as use in drug delivery, loosening and infection and modeling those processes in laboratory and in vivo environments. The topics involving medical devices, application of biological sciences, materials and biomaterials are interdisciplinary in nature providing a confluence of three areas namely, sciences, engineering and medicine at this symposium. Topics to be covered by this symposium include:
