The 37th Symposium on UltraSonic Dlectronics (USE2016)

UltraSonic Electronics (USE) symposium was first held in 1980 to promote communication and stimulate interactions in diverse fields of ultrasonics including both fundamentals and applied topics. Since then, innovations in ultrasonics for more than 35 years have been presented and discussed at the symposium. The symposium proceedings are open in our website and selected papers are published in a special issue of Japanese Journal of Applied Physics after being peer-reviewed. The usual size of the symposium is around 500 people. For promoting internationalization, the symposium has offered English sessions. We will expect many participants from Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan, China, Europe and others. USE symposium is now an Asia’s leading conference on ultrasonics. This year, USE 2016 is to be held abroad for the first time in Korea at Pukyong National University, Busan. Plenary talks, single oral session and poster presentations will be given in English. We sincerely hope that you will have fruitful discussion and enjoy a pleasant stay in Busan.
