Introduction

The Congress will be WADEM’s 20th biennial meeting of global experts to exchange knowledge and best practices on prehospital and in-hospital emergency medical care, disaster health and response, and emergency public health and safety. Co-hosted by the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the CBRNE Collaborative, the Congress will take place from 25-28 April 2017 in the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada.

Thank you to everyone who submitted an abstract for the WADEM Congress 2017. The abstract review process has now begun! Acceptance notices will sent by email on 19 December 2016.

The Congress Committee is pleased to announce that the WADEM Congress 2017 has been awarded CME accreditation! Delegates will be able to receive up to 19.50 CME points for their participation.

Accreditation Statement for Joint Providership:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of PeerPoint Medical Education Institute and WADEM.
