Introduction
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to (the website of) Osseo 2017!
As one of the first centers in the world, already in 1987 the first patient was operated in Nijmegen and could hear again by means of bone conduction hearing. Over the past 30 years almost 2.000 patients were revalidated only in Nijmegen and more than 200.000 worldwide. As you all know well, the field of bone conduction hearing continues to grow. We are still learning and developing, the goal remains to let patients hear again next to the goal how to best capture the needs of each specific patient. The field of bone conduction hearing is rapidly changing, these remain exciting times!
We look forward to meeting you all in our home town and unite all the professionals working in this field May 17-20, 2017. Bring your authentic expertise and share knowledge together!

Guidlines
- Attendees are limited to submit no more than three abstracts. Due to restricted time allotments (oral presentations) and available space for posters (poster presentations), we will accept a limit of one (1) abstract (oral presentation) per registered first presenting author.
- Mailed, e-mailed or faxed abstracts will not be accepted.
- Presenters are solely responsible for submission and subsequent confirmation of our receipt of their abstracts.
- All presenters must pre-register for the meeting and pay the applicable fee by March 1, 2017. Registrations not received / paid by the deadline, will result in a rejection of the submitted abstract (i.e. no possibility to either present a poster or oral presentation). Confirmations of acceptance are sent to those who persons who submitted the abstract (contacting author).NOTE: If you did not receive a (automatic generated) confirmation of receipt from the secretarial office, your abstract has not been received. Please send an e-mail in order to resolve this.
- Speakers are required to disclose any affiliation with and financial interest in a company or product related to the subject matter of the presentation as a part of the Speaker's Agreement. This disclosure should be shown at the start of their presentation. A template is available at the secretarial office. Please contact the secretariat if you need a copy.
- All designated presenting poster authors must be present during the Poster Session.
- No travel compensation is provided for abstract presenters (oral or poster).
