International Conference on Frontiers in Theoretical and Applied Physics

In partnership with the Emirates Mars Mission and Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center (MBRSC), the Department of Physics at American University of Sharjah (AUS) is proud to host the international conference Frontiers in Theoretical and Applied Physics |UAE 2017 (FTAPS 2017). The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for physicists, astronomers, and space and material scientists from around the world to present the latest developments in the various dynamic fields of physics. The conference will provide ample opportunity to exchange ideas on rising research issues in physics, astrophysics, and space and material science, and to promote regional and international collaborations.
The conference program will include keynote lectures delivered by renowned scientists, invited talks by leading experts on hot topics, special sessions on issues of special interest and contributed papers from researchers around the globe. All papers contributed to the conference will appear in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) after going through a review process by the conference scientific committee. Moreover, authors of selected contributions will be invited to submit extended articles toward a focus issue in Physica Scripta associated with FTAPS2017.
The conference is endorsed by the American Physical Society (APS), Materials Research Society (MRS), the Institute of Physics (IOP) in the UK, and the International Astronomical Union (IAU)-Office of Astronomy for Development.
