The 2017 conference on Plant Lipids: Structure, Metabolism and Function

The 2017 conference on Plant Lipids: Structure, Metabolism and Function, Jan 29-Feb 3rd 2017, will address areas of broad relevance to modern plant science and contemporary agricultural biotechnology. The focus will be on the role of lipids in signaling, cellular homeostasis, cellular trafficking, and membrane structure. In addition this conference will explore important contemporary technologies, such as genomic and other -omic sciences, molecular modeling, direct genome editing and lipid imaging. The presentations and posters will address a wide range of applied topics, highlighting the role of lipids in key issues such as human and animal nutrition, human food production, biotic and abiotic stresses, and renewable energy.
