Introduction

The International Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering (JCSSE) is premier conference for presenting and exchanging the technological advances and research results in the fields of Computer Science, Software Engineering, and related fields. The conference brings together leading scientists and engineers in Computer Science and Software Engineering from around the world.

Walailak University, situated in Nakhon Si Thammarat, a cultural and natural diverse province in southern Thailand, is proud to host the 14th International Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering (JCSSE2017). The focus of this event will be on innovation through software technology.

It is inconceivable how we could have lived and worked without some kinds of software that ties all computing machines/devices together. Through the advance of the Internet of Things, and reduction in costs associated with chip manufacturing, we are seeing an explosion in the number of devices embedded with electronics, software, sensors and network connectivity. More than ever, computing technology has the power to affect human lives, with researchers and software developers expanding on computational theory and principles to operate highly ubiquitous applications. Increasingly, general innovations have their basis in software or are entirely software based. This trend is expected to continue in the near future.

Guidlines

Papers should not exceed six (6) pages including results, figures, and references. All manuscripts must be prepared in the standard IEEE Conference Proceedings format in PDF. Manuscript templates are made available on the website. Only electronic submissions in PDF format will be accepted via EDAS submission system. All submissions will be subjected to a double-blind review procedure. At least one of the authors is expected to register and present the paper at the conference upon acceptance.

High quality papers will be selected to propose to IEEE to include in IEEEXplore® Digital Library, which has published the selected JCSSE papers since JCSSE2012.

The authors of the high quality papers will be invited to extend their works for the submission to a special issue of the Walailak Journal of Science and Technology (WJST), indexed by Scopus.
