Dependability of Service Computing System

Service computing system was categorized as new terminology in service computing. Research in the service computing system was still limited so far. Previous studies inform that modeling and measurement of system ability in dependable computing have been researched even before 2004, but only several publications specifically discussed ability measurement of service computing and/or service computing system. One of the system characters introduced by the researchers is dependability. Dependability was defined as the ability to avoid service failures. The purpose of this article is to identify potential future research through systematic literature review and to offer an approach for better understanding in service computing system dependability as a basis for its measurement work. This study also proposes the initial idea of modeling the dependability-driven dynamic reconfiguration in service computing system.
