Introduction

You are cordially invited to participate in the International Symposium on Educational Technology (ISET 2017) to be held at City University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong SAR during 27 to 29 June 2017.

Unquestionably, technology has become an irreversible force driving changes in the teaching and learning practices. Educational technology broadly encompasses instructional technology, information and communication technology for educational purposes, with an aim to enhance learning outcome and enrich learning experience through the effective and innovative use of technology. ISET 2017 provides a platform for knowledge exchange and experience sharing among researchers and practitioners in this field.

The conference theme of ISET 2017 is Innovative Application of Technology in Education.

Submission Topics

Original papers reporting research results or novel applications of educational technology are welcomed. ISET2017 covers all topics in educational technology including, but not limited to:

  • e-learning and online learning

  • instructional technology

  • ubiquitous learning and flexible learning

  • social media for teaching and learning

  • massive open online courses

  • open education resources

  • online platform and environment

  • podcasting and broadcasting

  • virtual classroom

  • virtual reality for teaching and learning

  • learning analytics

  • institutional policies and strategies

Guidlines

Original papers should be written in English and submitted through the conference website. Your paper should follow the IEEE's two-column proceedings format in 4 to 5 pages.

The Conference Proceedings will be published by the IEEE Computer Society CPS and submitted to the IEEE Xplore, IEEE Computer Society Digital Library and EI indexing. Selected papers will be recommended to the International Journal of Innovation and Learning. Best and excellent paper awards will be granted to authors of papers with exceptional merits.
