8th Asian Pig Veterinary Academic Conference (APVS)

We are very pleasure to announce that the 8th Asian Pig Veterinary Academic Conference, which hosted by Asian Pig Veterinary Society (APVS) and organized by Animal Medical Faculty, HuaZhong Agricultural University will be held on 12-15 May, 2017 in East Lake international conference center of Wuhan in Hubei province, China.
The important swine diseases, caused by pathogenic microorganisms, parasites, breeding management and other factors, influence the development of Asian swine industry seriously. The biological safety and disease risk analysis inside and outside the pig farm are significant measures to prevent these swine diseases. In recent years, many progresses have been made on the prevention of important swine diseasesin China and abroad. Asian countries need to work together to preventand control swine diseases. For this reason, the global famousexperts will be invited to give presentations which focus on manyareas including pseudorabies, porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, porcine circovirus virus disease, bacterial respiratory infectious diseases, antibiotic resistance mechanisms, new pig diseases and zoonosis and farm bio-safety. The congress will also organize parallel session andsatellite meetingfor an in-depth discussion in the control of respiratory disease, gastrointestinal disease, reproductive disorders and parasitic diseases.
