The 2017 Gordon Research Conference on Enzymes, Coenzymes & Metabolic Pathways

It is 104 years since Michealis and Menten described that the rate of an enzyme reaction is proportional the the enzyme-substrate complex. The Enzymes Coenzymes and Metabolic Pathways Gordon Research Conference has chronicled advances in the study of enzymes and related fields for 70 of those years. In this 70th anniversary year the theme of the ECMP GRC will be part retrospective and part state of the art. The purpose of which is to illustrate the evolution of ideas in this chemically dense area of biochemistry and to show the potential that new tools and methods offer this field of inquiry.
