2017 Cukurova International ELT Teachers Conference (CUELT 2017)

We are proud to announce that the 3rd Çukurova International ELT Teacher Conference themed around “Reshaping Teaching and Learning English for the 21st Century” will be held in Çukurova University, Adana, Turkey on April 20-21, 2017. 
Çukurova International ELT Teacher Conferences (CUELT Conferences) was established 3 years ago, but its history dates to 2006 which was initiated with the aim of increasing collaboration between English language teachers and practitioners to improve the quality of teaching and learning English in Turkey. Goaded by increasing enthusiasm and attention, CUELT organizers transformed the fledgling group into an international platform in 2015.
Participants from various countries attended CUELT 2015 and 2016. The conference attracted a combination of academic scholars, practitioners, and individuals interested in sharing their research and findings with kindred spirits. 
Çukurova University is located in Adana, which is the fifth biggest city in Turkey.  It is a city known for its cuisine. The vocabulary of Adana food starts first and foremost with “Adana”, as in Adana kebab, followed quickly by şalgam, şırdan, and içli köfte, and no meal is complete without a late night stop for bici bici, at one of the lakeside stands.  Çukurova University has a beautiful turquoise campus with a spectacular panoramic view of lake Seyhan, with the Adana skyline rising majestically on the opposite shore, the perfect antidote to long day of rigorous work for both academicians and students. 
In such an atmosphere, we are again honored to host researchers, academics, and teaching professionals from across the spectrum. In short, we extend a warm welcome to all those who have dedicated themselves to teaching and learning.
