1st Molecules Medicinal Chemistry Symposium

It is with great pleasure that I announce the 1st Molecules Medicinal Chemistry Symposium, on the topic of emerging drug discovery approaches against infectious diseases, to be held at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences of the University of Barcelona (Spain) on September 8th, 2017.

This Symposium seeks to gather experts in the field of medicinal chemistry of anti-infective agents, to provide a forum for discussion regarding novel drug structural classes, therapeutic approaches, biological targets, and resistance mechanisms, which can pave the way for the development of optimized therapies for bacterial, protozoan, viral, and fungal infections. Participants will have the opportunity to present short talks and posters on their work and discuss their research in a relaxed, collegial environment.

The Symposium is organized by MDPI, the publisher of the open-access journal, Molecules.
