11th International Mine Ventilation Congress (IMVC)

The International Mine Ventilation Congress (IMVC) , launched by professionals in the field of mine ventilation and safety in 1975, has organized 10 successive congresses successfully, each having an attendance of about 300 delegates from around 20 countries. IMVC has become an influential academic meeting on mine ventilation with the largest number of attendees.  

The aim of the International Mine Ventilation Congresses is to promote and nurture communication among ventilation professionals and thus to improve mine ventilation engineering and the related health and safety aspects.

The 11th IMVC will be held in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, China, hosted by Xi’an University of Science and Technology (XUST) together with China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) in 2018.
