The Event Background
Though the weak global demand and economic decline could restrain the growth in energy consumption, Chinese energy needs are keeping a reasonable growth in 2016, particularly in natural gas and LPG. The boom of LNG and LPG market in China are revealing a bright perspective of future.
China has emerged as the world's third-biggest LNG importer and second-biggest LPG importer. It has been the engine of Asia and World demand growth. According to General Administration of Customs, LNG imports reach 11,504 million tons in the first half year, an increase of 21.2%. It will probably exceed over 23 million tons in 2016, a record high.
