China International Conference on Inertial Technology and Navigation  

From 31 October to 1 November a Joint Delegation, including representatives of ITMO University, State Research Center Concern CSRI Elektropribor, and International Public Association - Academy of Navigation and Motion Control (ANMC) was invited to participate in China International Conference on Inertial Technology and Navigation - CICITN 2016. The delegation consisted of three representatives from the International Scientific Laboratory«Integrated Navigation and Attitude Reference Systems», founded by department of INS in 2014. The laboratory is represented by its co-head Prof. Stepanov OA (Deputy Head of the Department of INS at ITMO University, Head of the Research and Education Center Concern CSRI "Elektropribor", Vice President ANMC), assistant teacher of Department INS, Motorin A.V. and PhD student, Liang Qing. The organizer of the conference is the Chinese Society of Inertial Technology (CSIT).

The conference started with 4 plenary lectures:

1.Development of inertial technology in China, Wang Wei (Academician of CAS, p. Beijing institute of Aerospace Control Devices, China);

2.Vision of drivers mobility: Where we are, How we will get along the way. (Alian L. Kornhauser, USA);

3.Atomic gyroscope: technology and prospective, Fang Jian-cheng (Academician of CAS, , China);

4.Status and development trends of metrology in micro and Nano-electronics manufacturing (Krivtsov Evgenii, SPbStU, Russia).
