The 2017 Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on Directed Cell Migration provides a unique forum for graduate students and post-docs to present and exchange new data and cutting-edge ideas. The goal of the 2017 GRS on Directed Cell Migration is to generate engaging discussion between early career scientists and leaders in the field of cell migration. Cell migration is an essential and fascinating behavior that contributes to proper development, morphogenesis, and homeostasis; but also underlies a variety of pathological processes. This GRS will engage young researchers in the field by providing time for career networking, two stimulating keynote talks on in vivo imaging of cell migration and the metastatic process, and a lively "Ask the PI" roundtable. In addition, our program offers an exciting lineup of sessions that include talks on migration dynamics, morphogenesis and chemotaxis.
