Introduction

The 24th International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing, IWSSIP 2017, will take place in Poznań, Poland on May 22-24, 2017 and will be hosted by Poznań University of Technology

IWSSIP is an international conference on theoretical, experimental and applied signal processing. IWSSIP brings together researchers and developers from both academia and industry to report on the latest scientific and theoretical advances, to discuss major issues and to demonstrate state-of-the-art systems. IWSSIP 2017 will follow the successful events previously held in Budapest, Manchester, Poznan, Zagreb, Bratislava, Maribor, Bucharest, Prague, Chalkida, Rio de Janeiro, Sarajevo, Vienna, Bucharest, Dubrovnik, and London.

IWSSIP 2017 is organized by the Chair of Multimedia Telecommunications and Microelectronics, Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, Poznań University of Technology, Poland, with technical co-sponsorship of Poland Section of IEEE and EURASIP and with co-operation of Signals, Circuits and Electronic Systems Section of the Electronics and Telecommunications Committee of Polish Academy of Sciences.

As in the previous years, all accepted papers will be submitted to IEEEXplore and Web of Science.

The Best Student Paper Award, initially started in 2012, will be continued in 2017.
