Introduction

Welcome to the 2017 Joint IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectrics (ISAF), International Workshop on Acoustic Transduction Materials and Devices (IWATMD), and Piezoresponse Force Microscopy Workshop (PFM). The meeting will be held in Atlanta, GA, USA on the Georgia Institute of Technology's campus from May 7 through 11, 2017. This international conference aims to bring together leaders from academia, national laboratories and industrial research and development sectors, to discuss the most recent advancements in the science and technology of ferroelectric and dielectric materials, spanning a broad range of topics from the theory and modeling of the materials, to processing and characterization thereof, as well as development of new applications and devices.
