Introduction

由中国教育国际交流协会主办的第六届“2014博士生教育国际交流会/PhD Workshop China 2014”将于2014年11月22日-23日继续在北京港澳中心瑞士酒店举行。该交流会的宗旨是为有志出国攻读博士的中国学生和国外招收博士生的学校和导师搭建一个交流、沟通与面试的平台，让双方利用这个面对面交流的机会，使海外院校代表可以向中国学生介绍更多的博士生研究学科、资助项目、奖学金项目、专业申请及入学机会，并现场指导申请程序、进行面试等；同时，国内学生也能获得权威、全面、丰富、专业、准确的博士留学信息。 截至11月初，来自澳大利亚、比利时、加拿大、法国、德国、日本、新加坡、荷兰、英国、美国等10个国家近80所著名大学及博士研究生院已经报名参会，院校名单详见附件；届时相关驻华使馆教育官员以及150多位院校博士生招生主管、教授和导师将现场向中国学生详解各自学校和院系的博士生招生、资助、奖学金申请、学科专业设置等问题。同时，这些大学和博士研究生院也愿意与国内高校研究生院建立联系、探讨人才培养、合作科研、共谋进步与发展。

Submission Topics

The workshop is designed to benefit both overseas institution delegates and Chinese graduates by: · Providing overseas institutions with a well-managed and effective event at which they can meet Chinese top graduates interested in PhD education. · Providing overseas delegates with a database of invited and registered students from all over China. · Offering Chinese students a platform to learn more about opportunities for PhD recruitment in foreign countries from official, reliable and legitimate sources of information. · Giving students an opportunity to meet face-to-face with official delegates of accredited overseas universities & institutions, and make interviews on-site.
