Aviation Industry Informatization Summit 2015

The continuing integration of traditional industry and new generation IT industry represented by Internet has deeply triggered the structure of traditional manufacturing industry. In response to this development trend, Chinese government announced Made in China 2025 in this May and strategically planned the development of domestic manufacturing industries for the next 10 years. At the same time, aviation industry in China is carrying on its rapid growth. According to the latest marketing forecast done by COMAC, 5,541 more aeroplanes will be needed by the year 2033 in coping with the increasing demand, and 13% of total volume will be digested by the domestic OEMs. COMAC and AVIC is now facing the increasing demand on its productivity. Therefore as an important method in promoting productivity and efficiency, the appliance of IT techniques has attracted more and more attentions by decision makers in domestic aviation industry. In this context, Aviation Industry Informatization Summit 2015, organised by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, will take place in this November in Beijing, China. This event aims at promoting the development of IT techniques applied in domestic aircraft OEMs and will discuss current difficulties and dilemmas.
