Symposium A: Novel Processing Technology

Novel processing is important for improving the properties and performance of ceramics, creating new structure and functions of ceramics and contributing to the realization of reducing environment burden from the viewpoint of life cycle and cost performance. The objective of this symposium is to discuss the progress and challenges on the leading edge, and to share knowledge of novel processing technologies and related new materials among materials scientists, chemists, physicists and engineers from both research units and industries. The topics of this symposium cover a wide variety of science and engineering fields, including fundamentals, manufacturing process, process-structure-property relations and new concept technologies. The papers on inter- and multi- disciplinary science and technology are also welcomed.
